Listen to Consumers
Understand the concerns being raised and how they affect consumers.
Our Work
Our work focuses on helping electricity consumers understand billing issues, documenting common concerns and encouraging constructive engagement with relevant stakeholders and institutions.

Our Approach
Electricity-billing issues can involve technical, regulatory and administrative questions. Our approach therefore begins with information rather than assumptions.
Understand the concerns being raised and how they affect consumers.
Encourage collection of bills, correspondence, complaints and supporting information.
Look for recurring electricity-billing issues affecting multiple consumers.
Discuss documented matters with relevant stakeholders and institutions where appropriate.
Raise documented concerns before relevant institutions and authorities through available channels.
Keep consumers aware of relevant developments and outcomes when they are documented.

Electricity costs can affect households, businesses and industrial establishments differently. The broader electricity-bill initiative has therefore also involved discussions with industry and business associations.
