Electricity-billing issues can involve technical, regulatory and administrative questions. Our approach therefore begins with information rather than assumptions.
Document the Issue
Encourage collection of bills, correspondence, complaints and supporting information.
Identify Common Concerns
Look for recurring electricity-billing issues affecting multiple consumers.
Engage Constructively
Discuss documented matters with relevant stakeholders and institutions where appropriate.
Represent Through Appropriate Channels
Raise documented concerns before relevant institutions and authorities through available channels.
Inform Consumers
Keep consumers aware of relevant developments and outcomes when they are documented.

An important part of the initiative has been engagement with public institutions and grievance mechanisms concerning electricity-related consumer issues.

Building a Wider Conversation
Electricity costs can affect households, businesses and industrial establishments differently. The broader electricity-bill initiative has therefore also involved discussions with industry and business associations.
A 24 July 2024 letter from the Patparganj F.I.E. Entrepreneurs Association (Regd.) records support for efforts concerning electricity-billing charges affecting Delhi industrialists. The letter followed a meeting held on 18 July 2024.
Earlier initiative material predating the Society’s formal registration in 2026.
